About
Joanna is a professional dancer, trained actress, and choreographer. She is fluent in English, Polish, French, and Russian. Her passion for travel and dance has always shaped her life and career. She has traveled the world performing in international production shows and has lived and worked in France, Singapore, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Italy, and the United States. She has also performed in Peru, Switzerland, the Caribbean, Croatia, and Morocco.
Joanna has appeared in numerous live events, television programs, music videos, fashion shows, and commercials. She has been involved in theater, dance, and gymnastics from an early age. At eight years old, she joined the children’s theater company at the Musical Theatre in Gdynia and soon after appeared on the television program “Zjedz to sam” (TVP1). After successfully auditioning for and being accepted into the National Ballet School in Gdańsk, she decided to focus on classical ballet. While still a student, she began performing with the Baltic State Opera, appearing in productions such as La Bayadère, Giselle, Snow White, Romeo and Juliet, and The Nutcracker. She also toured Poland with the Expression Theatre Company in “Kantata”, directed by Wojciech Misiuro.
Shortly after graduating from the National Ballet School, Joanna received her first professional contract with the prestigious French cabaret Crazy Horse. She performed with the company in Paris, Las Vegas, Singapore, and Portugal, and appeared in multiple television programs and international publications. She also performed at private events for celebrities including Christina Aguilera, Sharon Stone, George Clooney, and Dita Von Teese.
After eight years with the company, Joanna expanded her artistic path into musical theater and acrobatic productions. She performed in “Come Fly With Me” (musical theater production) and “Pirates Adventure” (acrobatic show in Spain). She also worked on two production shows aboard Norwegian Cruise Line — “Elements” and “Illusionarium” — as both a dancer and magic assistant. In Las Vegas, she performed as a showgirl in the iconic production “Jubilee!”.
After moving to the United States, Joanna earned her Associate of Arts degree in Media and Journalism from the College of Southern Nevada and later completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media at the City University of New York, School of Professional Studies. She further trained as an actress, studying the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West in Los Angeles and completing a two-year program in New York. She also attended The Acting Studio in New York.
In addition to performing, Joanna is an accomplished choreographer. A few years ago, she founded her own dance company, producing and choreographing performances in New York, Boston, Washington, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Philadelphia. Her clients have included Estée Lauder, Maker’s Mark, Inside Nomad, and FIAF. She has choreographed and produced events at venues such as The Cutting Room (NYC), Chelsea Piers, The Grand Boston, Fairmont Plaza Boston, Princeton University Cottage Club, and the Yale Club.
Alongside her performing career, Joanna explored modeling from a young age and competed in several beauty pageants as a teenager. Her modeling credits include collaborations with brands and designers such as Rya Collection, Make Up For Ever, Redken, Paper London, Marc Jacobs, Rentrayage, Rhea Costa, and Maggie Sottero.
